Why I Loved Brahmastra – A Movie Review
Writing a movie review isn’t something I do often, but I knew that Brahmastra deserved one – it’s a blockbuster movie, after all. I was surprised to learn how much I loved it! If you haven’t seen this sci-fi epic yet, don’t worry – this movie review will be spoiler free! But if you have seen it, keep reading! In my Brahmastra movie review, I will discuss both the positive and negative aspects of this film in order to help you decide whether or not it’s worth seeing in theaters.
The Acting Was Great
Brahmastra had a great cast and the acting was superb. Alia Bhatt is my favorite actress and she did an amazing job of playing the character of Kalindi. Her co-star Sidharth Malhotra also did an excellent job of playing the role of Roshan. The two actors have good chemistry together and it showed on-screen.
The movie had some over-the-top scenes but it's understandable given that this is a fantasy film.
The Visual Effects Were Amazing
Brahmastra is a Hindi word that means ultimate weapon. This movie delivers an OTT, over-the-top, action-packed thrill ride with a strong female protagonist and some truly amazing visual effects. From the moment the movie starts, you know you’re in for a wild ride. The film opens with an intense chase scene on the streets of Mumbai.
The Story Was Engaging
The movie was engaging from start to finish. It was a refreshing change from the typical super hero movies that are out nowadays. The scenes were vivid and they had the perfect amount of action, comedy, and romance. The characters were well-developed and had a deep storyline, which made you care about what happened in their lives even if they weren’t the movie's main focus. It also left me optimistic about the future with all its messages of love, peace, and unity among people.
The Soundtrack Was Incredible
This movie is full of OTT scenes, but the soundtrack was incredible. The music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is simply divine and complements the scenes perfectly. You can feel the adrenaline pumping in your veins as you wait for a scene to unfold, and the music helps get you there. It’s one of those soundtracks that make you want to watch the movie again!
I’m not sure if it’s because I just watched Bharat or this was my first time watching an Aamir Khan film, but at times it felt like he just wasn’t acting. He just seemed so natural on screen that it almost made me forget he had directed it!
Overall, I Loved It!
Brahmastra is a movie that has been in the making for a while. The only downside is that it feels like there are too many characters and subplots to make sense of. However, the performance of all the actors was phenomenal and the movie was an OTT ride. There were some intense action scenes that were better than most Hollywood movies. And the soundtrack is one of the best ones I have heard this year.
Brahmastra Ott Release
Brahmastra is an OTT movie that is filled with action and drama. The dialogues are good and the storyline is as well. It's a new-age thriller which made it more interesting to watch. I recommend this movie for all ages who want some entertainment. If you're someone who has seen all the movies and doesn't know what else to watch, then try out Brahmastra. You'll love how different it is from other movies in its genre.
